
Horsham Township Expands Paper RecyclingPosted: 6/16/2009 8:25 AM Article ToolsHorsham Township has expanded its paper recycling program with two new drop off locations. At the Township Building and at the Library there are now yellow and green PaperRetriever bins. Residents can drop off at these bins their paper material to be recycled. What can be recycled in the PaperRetriever bins? office paper, all envelopes, catalogs, magazines, newspapers, junk mail, construction and poster paper, weekly circulars, TV guides, Fax paper, folders, spiral notebooks/theme books (the metal spiral may remain intact - please take off the front and back covers from the theme books) and shredded paper (must be tied in a plastic bag). You do not need to remove staples from paper. What NOT to put in the PaperRetriever bins? No plastic. No aluminum. No glass. No phonebooks. No cardboard. No cereal boxes, chipboard, milk cartons, soda cartons, food cartons, anything from the bathroom or kitchen. How to bring your recycled material to the bins? Do not place any recyclable material in bags. It must be loose. Only shredded paper can be tied in a plastic bag. Please collect your recycled material in a box or container at home, once full bring the container to a collection bin and dump the paper into the bin. FUN FACTS:
