Some customers near the County Line Road area of the township might notice a cloudiness to their water. Customers should be assured that the water is safe to drink.
The source of the water is a well that had been out of service as treatment equipment was installed to reduce the levels of PFOS and PFOA. Since the well and treatment system have been turned on, there has been excess air in the water, giving it a cloudy appearance. This is similar to what customers might experience when they turn water on in their homes following a service outage.
The Horsham Water and Sewer Authority is aware of the issue, is working to resolve it, and will keep customers informed of any changes that are made. Any further questions can be directed to the authority at 215.672.8011.
