Tax Help at the Horsham Library
Posted on Wednesday February 03, 2016
Tax Aide volunteers will be at the Horsham Library every Thursday from beginning on February 4th.
The AARP VITA Tax Aide program offers both low-income and elderly taxpayers assistance with preparing and filing their Federal and State personal income tax forms. Tax Aide volunteers will be at the Horsham Library every Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, beginning on February 4th. The program runs through April 14th. This service is free of charge, but appointments are required. Please call 215-443-2609 and press “0” to speak with someone about securing a time slot.
Taxpayers who prepare their own tax returns should be aware that the Internal Revenue Service is limiting both the supply and variety of tax forms and publications it will be sending to libraries. Instead, taxpayers will be expected to print their own forms and instructions from the IRS website.
