Horsham Township Council would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and assistance during the recent Winter Storm Riley.
Horsham Township Council would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and assistance during the recent Winter Storm Riley. It was a long weekend and we still have approximately 330 PECO customers in Horsham without power.
Our Police, Public Works, Emergency Management, Fire Company as well as our partners Horsham ChATs, Montgomery County Dept. of Public Safety, the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority, the American Red Cross and PECO all performed beyond expectation. They worked through the weekend away from their families and homes to ensure the safety of our residents.
We also want to thank Wawa and Tonelli’s Pizza for supplying food and drinks to the Red Cross warming shelter over the weekend.
Finally, we want to thank our amazing residents and business owners for their patience and coming together as a team. There are many stories about neighbors helping neighbors. Sharing generators, helping with fallen trees, inviting others into their homes and making sure each other were safe. That is who we are…a community connected.
