*NEW* Leaf & Branch Disposal Program

Posted on Wednesday February 16, 2022
Learn about our new leaf & branch disposal program, on the third Saturday of each month at the Public Works Facility.
If you may recall, in previous years Horsham Township held a Leaf Collection at the Municipal Complex, however during the construction of our new Township Building, it was temporarily relocated to Deep Meadow Park. Unfortunately, in both locations, we experienced non-residents taking advantage of the free service we provide to our residents.

Additionally, individuals misused this service to dispose of items that did not qualify as yard waste, such as old furniture and playground equipment. To better control and continue to offer this service, we have decided to implement a new Leaf and Branch Disposal program in which residents can dispose of their debris at the Public Works Facility. This new program will be a bit different than previous years, and dumpsters will no longer be available to the public 24/7.

Our new drop-off location will be open on the third Saturday of each month, beginning February 19, 2022 from 8 AM - 12 PM, at the Public Works Facility, 1005 Horsham Road.

Please pack your leaves in a biodegradable bag, and be sure your branches are no larger than 5" in diameter before arriving at the facility. Be sure to bring proof of residency when arriving at the facility to utilize this service. When you arrive, members of our Public Works team will assist you with removing debris from your vehicle and properly dispose of them. Just show up and our Public Works team will handle the rest!
