“Be a Part of the Conversation” is a Hatboro-Horsham School District initiative that believes that everyone — school officials, students, parents, police and community members — can play a role in preventing our children from becoming substance abusers. Central to that effort is a willingness to talk about the problems that exist and how we can work together to confront them.  In June 2014, Be a Part of the Conversation became an independent nonprofit organization.

Be a Part of the Conversation” partners with the Horsham Police Department in their efforts to promote and man the DEA’s nation-wide “Drug Take-Back” Campaign collection event that takes place every six months. During the four-hour collection period, Horsham Township’ collects unused drugs that will no longer become part of a landfill or water source, and will not be accessible to children or drug abusers.
